ProTrack
A wireless sensor with an accelerometer and a processor that has coded an algorithm to detect when the equipment is being used, monitoring the periods of use.
Protrack's idea is to install wireless sensors in equipment and tools used on construction sites, such as backhoe loaders, concrete mixers and electric hammers, among others.
This sensor includes an accelerometer and a processor that has coded an algorithm that detects when the equipment is being used. The sensors communicate wirelessly with a router installed on site, creating a database with information on the use of the different pieces of equipment. Through this technology, managers have a accurate idea about the activities underway and the equipment's availability.
Protrack's proposal won the Innovation Software award because it is a relevant technology for digitizing the construction site environment.
