Greenvolt intends to install a new Biomass Boiler at the Mortágua Thermoelectric Power Station.

ACA's new project is located at the old Mortágua Thermoelectric Power Station and consists of building the foundations for a Biomass Boiler and other complementary equipment (Sleeve Filter, Chimney, Fans, etc.), to be carried out as part of Greenvolt's "Mortágua II Project". Greenvolt is currently the main reference in terms of energy production from residual forest biomass in Portugal. It also operates an urban waste biomass plant in the UK, Tilbury Green Power.

The main works to be carried out as part of the contract are: various demolitions, earthworks, foundation piles, reinforced concrete elements, earthworks, infrastructure works, among others.
