[ACA] WITH NEW ROAD & INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS IN CABECEIRAS DE BASTO

December 26, 2023

This project is part of the Via do Tâmega and involves the construction of the Lordelo/Corgo section of the EN 210 bypass, with an execution time of 720 days.

This section is an integral part of the Via do Tâmega and begins at the N210, near the town of Corgo, running north-south until it ends at the Lordelo roundabout, as part of the link to Mondim de Basto, with a length of 3282 metres.

The road has a cross-sectional profile of 1 × 1 lanes (1 × 3.50m) in a running section, with straight verges 1.50 metres wide each. Over a length of 1115 metres, characterised by a gradient of more than 7%, the standard profile will be complemented by an additional lane for slow-moving vehicles.

Due to the orography of the natural terrain, the section includes 3 special engineering structures:
- Bridge over the River Veade
- Viaduct 1
- Viaduct 2
