Operation focused on one of the main arteries in metropolitan Lisbon.

ACA E&C signed a contract for the intervention, increasing the number of lanes on the A2/IC20 Node - Hospital Node - Casas Velhas Node of the IC20.
The widening of the platform includes Earthworks, Paving, Replacement of Affected Services, Geology and Geotechnics, Instrumentation, Accessory Works, Transverse and Longitudinal Drainage, Fencing, Vertical and Horizontal Signalling, Road Safety, Telecommunications,
Public lighting and landscape integration.

In addition to widening the platform, 1 road subway under the A2, 1 road overpass over the IC20 and 3 metal pedestrian overpasses will be built, 1 road overpass will be rehabilitated and 1 road overpass will be rectified.
