Last month of November, the new connection between the Escariz business park and the A32 in Arouca opened to traffic.

The new road axis, with a length of over 7 km, will allow strengthening the competitiveness of local companies, boost job creation and increase exports, and will also reduce travel times and costs associated with the movement of people and goods.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Infrastructures and Housing, Pedro Nuno Santos, who, among many statements, said "This is a historical day for us, the government and for Infraestruturas de Portugal, because it is the largest investment exclusively funded by the State Budget in the last 20 years".
