Further to the invitation addressed to the ACA Group by PLMJ, we participated in the II Congress on Construction Law promoted by PLMJ and Almedina which took place the past 25th and 26th of May in Lisbon.

ACA's participation took place in the afternoon of the 26th, in the 4th Session of the congress with the theme "The great construction projects". In this 4th session where the presence of a panel of distinguished figures from the construction sector, i.e. Carlos Fernandes (Vice President of the IP), Maria Helena Campos (Administrator of the Lisbon Metro), Tiago Braga (Administrator of the Porto Metro), Celeste Hagatong (Administrator of the Banco de Fomento), Filipa Roseta (Councillor Lisbon Municipality), Alexandre Portugal (Administrator of COBA) among others, ACA was represented by Luís Francisco who, excluding all others, represented the construction industry within the sector.

The interventions of the various speakers on the panel were of high interest and enrichment to participants and listeners, highlighting the focus on the various major projects in the pipeline and under implementation, under the investment programs PRR and PNI 2030, the difficulties posed by the Code of Public Procurement (CCP) and the responsiveness of the construction industry, a question to which the ACA responded in defense of the capacity of Engineering and Construction Companies, the National Industry and the need for proximity and cooperation between Project Owners and Construction Companies, as a guarantee of success in implementing projects.
