Michael Phelps Olympic Pool at Parque Oeste

On December 28th, the Michael Phelps Olympic Pool was inaugurated at Parque Oeste, in Rio de Janeiro, as part of a project developed by ACA Construction in Brasil.

Originally part of the former Olympic Aquatics Stadium, the pool was dismantled, transported and reassembled, fully preserving official competition dimensions and international standards.

Now managed by the Municipal Department of Sports, the facility will serve the local community, offering swimming and water aerobics classes for different age groups.
