Marginal 12 de Julho, in São Tomé and Príncipe

Construction works on Marginal 12 de Julho, in São Tomé and Príncipe, continue to progress steadily, with visible developments across multiple work fronts.

Paving works, sidewalks, drainage systems, reinforced concrete structures, and coastal protection solutions are advancing, strengthening the safety and durability of this strategic infrastructure.

At the same time, the implementation of telecommunications, water supply, and electricity infrastructure is underway. At the other end of the project, works are progressing on the installation of exterior pavement in 10x10x6 cm basalt stone over a properly graded sand layer, placement of curbs and road edges, definition of parking areas in the social zone, and execution of the pavement structure, including sub-base, base, binder, and wearing course.

Work also continues on the cycling lane, painting, installation of urban furniture, and landscaping, consolidating the rehabilitation of one of the country’s most important waterfront areas.

A project that enhances public space, promotes mobility, and strengthens the connection between the city and the sea.
